Official Concept art!!!!!!!
Finally I'm able to release some sort of conept art for my manga SOUL.

This will be a small part of a bigger concept art project codenamed SOUL CONCEPT.
I will try to release more characters in the coming weeks. work will be slow due to my personal life and with that I'm also buying a new Cintiq 13HD so you will see better quality art in the future!

What I enjoy about this the most is how professionally it is set up. Even if it is just for your own personal project it's good to be organized so you can easily reference it when you need to. You most likely have a turn around of this, but if not it'd be good to do so. What you want to do when creating a manga is to think of it as an animator would think of it. So when creating reference sheets and turn arounds it's good practice to include some notes on subtle things that really make the character. Like remembering to include a scar or how their nose turns up a subtle way. You get the idea. As for this character he's not necessarily a bad design. I think within the context of the story his attire would fit very well and make more sense. When designing a character you gotta keep a lot in mind to go into his personality. You want to make sure that just by looking at the person, even in a still shot like this, that you can tell how he ticks. I get a pretty decent idea of that from the colors you used. Not too bad dude I'd like to see him inside the actual manga!
